Hibiscus 'doppleganger'?

hello all.. I'm new and recently acquired a 10 yr old garden in SW Florida. I have an old hibiscus that just bloomed with a flower I've never seen before. It's red and single on the bottom, then instead of shooting up stamens, it shot up a double red flower!
I've only seen this in the echinacea family (purple coneflower most recently). Is this something new? I'm waiting to see if other buds do the same with the flower. I hope to attach a picture for you to see. (not sure how to do it on here).

That looks like an EL Capitilo Red to me. That is the way they normaly bloom. I have one and a peach color one too.
