Confederate Rose

I planted a confederate rose that came up voluntarily from my larger plant last year. It has survived but is not growing. What plant food or fertilizer should I be using?

8-8-8 will do fine. Cultivate around the plants, work it in and water well. You may want to add a little Epsom salts for greener leaves and bloom boosting.
