Can anyone tell me when to move my tropicals outside with the least stress. Does the night time tempurature have to be above a certain point?

I usually wait until the night temps aren't going to get below the mid 40's. Where I am, this means the daytime temps will be in the 60's or 70's.

Agree with Barb. I don't usually put mine outside until near the end of May when the whole slew of subtropicals and tropicals in here go the heck out for good (well... at least for summer, after taking up all this room)!!! LOL
