Blue Satin Rose of Sharon

Two years ago I planted a Blue Satin, it bloomed beautifully the first year but last year the blooms were more pink then blue. Has this ever happen to anyone else? I have a few seedlings growing in my yard, they should bloom blue satin, shouldn't they? Thanks

Seedlings can be any color AFAIK. Any change the ph affects bloom color? I don't think it does much with this shrub.
