Hibiscus producing seeds?

I have a luna hibiscus and it is blooming but I cannot pollinate it with another hibiscus because the rest are not yet blooming. When the flower falls off and the seed pod develops would the seeds inside grow or wouldn't they because the flower was never crossed with another flower from another plant?

Thanks

    Mike,
If the flower was never pollinated with pollen from either the same plant or another one, the seed pod will not develop. The flower will fall off and within a couple of days, so will the empty seed pod.
