I am starting over with a new yard and home, since Katrina. It has been so much fun trying out new plants and flowers (new to me, anyway.) Recently I planted the Cajun Hibiscus "Bienvenue" and have had more fun watching its beautiful "face" unfurl. Such vivid colors. I might have to buy a few more!

Where ya from wodka? I'm originally from Slidell outside new orleans. What color blooms does your Bienvenue have? (I'm moving back to Slidell next year!!!)

I have the Acadian Spring cajun hibiscu and love it. The person I bought it from says not to plant it in the ground. Did yours do okay in the ground? Here is a picture of Acadian Spring. I am getting my mother Bon Temps.
