Painted Lady Hibiscus Tree

I purchased a Painted Lady Hibiscus Tree, and I was wondering how much vertical growth I can expect over the summer. It is really three or four plants braided together, and it is currently between two and three feet tall (closer to two). How tall will this guy get over the summer?

Also, are there any steps I need to take to contine the braiding process? As long as it stays upright and doesn't get floppy, I don't really mind terribly much if the new growth keeps its braided appearance, but are there any steps that I might need to take?

I have a painted lady hibiscus, but it only grows new leaves. The blooms start but fall-off before they mature and/or open. What gives.
