i bought a dormant Aphrodite Tree Hibiscus online & received it on april 8th. i have followed all theinstructions -- soaked it, potted it, watered it & have waited patiently for leaves to appear. it is now almost june & it looks exactly the same. a tall stick in a pot that the spiders are using as a place to hang cobwebs. how do i know if it's alive? the other rose of sharon bushes i have in the ground from last year are all leafy & full any info will be appreciated ...thanks jeannie

Jeannie,
Scrape a little of the bark off down towards the bottom and see if you see green.
If not, it's dead.
If it's green, your fine. It will leaf out, put it outside.
Good Luck!
