what does rose of sharon look like when it starts to grow?

| My mom gave me some rose of sharon seeds, and i potted them up to start, and now i'm not sure if i have weeds or rose of sharon. can anyone post a picture of one just starting to grow or give me a site that will show me? any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi, If you do a google image search for Hibiscus Syriacus Leaves, you will get a few good photos.

| I bought a couple of small plants this weekend and the leaves look like a maple tree. I'm glad I didn't start them from seeds because I probably would have torn them out! |

| I have started a rose of sharon from seed and believe it has started to grow but I am not sure. It's about 3 inches tall with two green stems. What should it look like |
