I have a 3 year old pot grown texas star that I just planted in the ground. It just finished sending up a really nice stalk, about 3 feet tall. I accidentally broke the entire stalk off at the base. Being that it is the end of may will it produce another one this summer on still flower?

I see no reason why it won't bloom on the new growth that shows up. I did the same thing last year and it was just fine.
