| Wow! I thought I was going to respond to your post after a quick check on Google, but dang! I couldn't really find much! Although it does seem to grow into a tree and is hardy in warmer climates. Good Luck! Barb |

| I finally found information on it. It only grows to about 4 feet tall and has nice red blooms on it all year long. Big beautiful colorful leaves. It is really grown for its folage. It's not a Hibiscus you come across too often. I love the large beautiful tri-color leaves. |

| Hi, Sunny43 I don't know where you found that information, but you are liable to be a little surprised, once your little plant starts putting on growth! H. tiliaceus tri-color is a fairly common species type hibiscus, that quickly grows to 30 feet or more in tropical conditions. I keep mine cut mine back to about 6 feet, due to lack of space. Blooms are said to normally be yellow, although none of mine have ever bloomed. The foliage is beautiful, however, and I often propagate cuttings (in wet Perlite) to give to friends & family. Spelled properly, Google will return lots of info on this plant. Here is a link to one source: http://www.hibiscus.org/species/htiliaceus.php I hope that you enjoy your beatiful Hibiscus! | Rick: That doesn't look like the one I have. I found one just like mine on this site: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&?ViewItem&item=438444503
