Leaves turning yellow. Too much rain?

Hello. This is my first time posting to the hibiscus forum. I planted a 'Freedom' Rose of Sharon this spring. It was a larger plant (about 2' now). It was doing great for awhile. We've recently gotten lots of rain in the form of thunderstorms and downpours. (Just over 2" in the last week and over 6" for the month of June.) The leaves are now turning yellow. Will it rebound? This next week is supposed to be dry and hopefully that will help. Do I need to worry that it won't make it?

Thanks!
