White Texas Star Hibiscus

This is a new one for me this year and it bloomed 2 flowers this morning. I have about 20 more buds on the plant!!

    Thank you. It is a really nice bloom. It has not stopped blooming since I posted the pic above.

    I have both varieties in my garden, but the white one is tops! I also like its foliage. What a winner! It is a real attention getter!

    The white one really stands out. Friends that see it really love it. Both my red one and my white one have been blooming like crazy this year. Karen

    You made a wise choice! Be sure your plant gets ample water to get established. Mulch for winter protection if in zone 7 or colder, at least in the first winter. Do NOT cut stems down until winter or early spring. Be patient as these plants do not resprout until April or May in zone 7.
