Will hibiscus roots penetrate the pool wall?

D K

I live in Southern California. Zone 9/10. full sun area. Would the hibiscus plant roots destroy the newly built pool? The other side is a retaining wall. The space between the pool and wall is 4'

If so, any suggestions of plants?

    Davy,
Your just asking about the plant that is hibiscus, right?
    No.
Plant hibiscus if you want. The roots will not bother your
    wall at all.
