Can you collect seeds from hardys??

I know where the seed pods are, but are they mature and can they be dried and save to share?? Thks!

    I collected the dried seed heads last year for the first time. Saved them and planted them early spring. They are about 2 ft tall right now. I didn't think it would work but it did!
