Can anyone tell me the name of my hibiscus?

My good friend gave it to me from her yard last year. It came with her house and she had plenty of them. All I know is it's a hardy one becuase it comes back every year. It's about 5 feet tall and 6 feet wide. The flowers are 8 inches in diameter.

That's gorgeous! I have the same variety will be interested to know it's name. Mine is a young plant and gives pretty big flowers but yours is one beautiful giant!

I love it! It wasn't doing good in my friends yard so she said I could have it! That was last year. This year it's gotten much bigger but also has some kind of pests. If you want to see the latest one check out my post about a strange creature eating holes in the buds.
