For the past two years I have had this beautiful plant. I realize that this plant is late to wake in the spring but I do have a few shoots that are a few inches high. It seems like in the past that there were far more shoots at this time and I am wondering if I should be fertilizing or something else. By fall the branches are very think and I cut them to the ground. Am I doing the right thing? Sure would appreciate any advice or info. Thanks. Sharon
