Hibiscus Pots/Container

Hello all,

I'm new to gardening and I love it!

Today I purchased a Hibiscus Tree (President?) from Lowes and I was wondering when it should be transfered to a larger pot/container?

If so, what is the best pot/container and what size? I do realize that I'll need to bring it indoors during Winter.

It should be transplanted with the roots come out from the bottom of the pot or you can take it out and get the dirt out of the roots and cut some of the roots off and repot in the same pot.
