Nurseries are sellings lots of hibiscus right now. One is very tall, a single blue and I think it can be planted outside.

Can anyone tell me about this type of hibiscus. We have plenty of snow cover here for months on end. I have two tropical hibiscus that overwinter in my home.

What type of hibiscus are they? If its a Rose of Sharon or Hibiscus Moscheutos then they can be planted outside in your zone.

I have the blue one planted outsde in Montreal. It is pretty hardy. I think it is called blue bird

That's a Rose of Sharon (Althea).
