A month or two ago I purchased 2 tropical hibiscus from a home improvement center, both looked healthy and were full of blooms. I promptly re-potted them into 2 larger pots and all seemed well. A couple of weeks ago the trouble started. The first one is losing it's leaves, they are turning yellow and dropping and is looking straggly but is still blooming. The other is healthy looking and green, full of leaves but is not blooming anything like the other. My main concern right now is the straggly one. Before all the problems started I had given them both a bit of fertilizer, miracle grow type. I thought this may be a problem and really flooded the pot with water to try and wash out any fertilizer that may be remaining. Now the leaves have starting to wilt on top of all the other issues. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea what to do next.
