| Yes, I too have that nasty disease that makes one think we have been neglectful of our watering chores. I like to experiement w/ plants. I have four Hardy Hibiscus. I left two in full sun all day (as I was told they would thrive there) and replanted two in partial shade. Well, I proved myself right (for a change :). The plants in the partial shade are fairing well and the ones in all day sun, are not surprising so, getting the yellow leaves and dropping off. AND, the ones in partial shade bloomed just as profusely as the ones in all day sun. The TN sun is brutal. Although we are fortunate here to have a long growing season...too much of a good 'thang' is TOO MUCH OF A GOOD 'THANG.' |
