Is anyone growing this in zone 7? I love it and really want to be able to keep it for next year, so I'm thinking ahead and wondering what's going to be the best way of wintering it? The moma plant is huge and in a half barrel outdoor pot that I leave out. It does root pretty easy so I can take some cuttings to do with whatever I decide. I really don't want to keep it inside due to the bug and light problems, but would it take to wintering under the house (crawl space). I do keep other tropicals under there with a shoplight on a timer. Most go dormant. It doesn't drop below freezing under there but is prolly cool enough to force it into dormancy. If I start now with a rooted cutting of it in a pot do you think it will have time to get big enough roots to overwinter? Thanks
