Plant ID please

Good day;
This past spring we moved to an older house with some established plantings.
There are two hibiscus bushes, one, is about 3 ft tall and
is what we believe to be the Blue Bird variety

The second bush is about 9ft tall and has a bloom unlike the Blue Bird "plate shaped". It is more along the lines of a "carnation" type flower. The bloom is about 4" across and is more of a dark red wine color than the pink which shows in the photo. We live in Halifax, NS, Canada which is zone 6

Any help in identifying or confirming or belief would be much appreciated

Gene

Hi genes,
I am soooo jealous of your beautiful blue blooms!
My blooms don't look that blue. They are beautiful!
The second pic is a double bloom pink. Gorgeous!
I have one double bloom blue which are pale compared to yours. You are doing something right, they are truly healthy!
