Are all hibiscus not reliable from seed?

I am sooo excited! I just harvested seeds off of my Raspberry Rose Hibiscus, but then read that they won't be reliable seeds. Is this true? And how do I tell what kind of cultivar it came from?

Yes, As you notice on that page it is in ' marks and does not have a scientific name which indicates it is a hybrid between two species. You could ask them for the cross or search for it on a search engine.
