Sun requirements for Rose of Sharon 'Freedom'?

Planning on planting it in front of our house, which faces southwest, so the sun won't reach it until close to noon. Will that be enough hours of sunlight to see many blooms?

It should be fine. I will say however that I have 3 RoS Lucy in different locations/sun exposures. The all have gotten enormous this year but the ones with less/later sun definitely bloomed later. The one in the front (see other thread) gets 7 hours of morning sun. That bloomed a few weeks ago. I have one on the side which faces south and that *just* bloomed 2 days ago. The one in back which doesn't get sun until after 3 pm has buds but no blooms yet. It could be a fluke of nature or it could be the sun.

I have a blue satin in full fun (at least 15 hours) and that bloomed weeks before any of the lucys. It's been in bloom just about 1 month now.
