| Can you actually take cuttings to start new plants now? I was reading that it had to be done in the Spring time when the plant is first showing leaves/buds. I would love to start some now if they would root now. |

| they will root now but you would prbly have to overwinter it inside your house I did one last year at this time and kept it inside all winter then I just planted it out today,I didnt want to plant it out any earlier because of the heat,I kept it outside under a picnic table all summer with some other potted up cuttings.I just took a cutting and put roothormone on it and put it in a mason jar of water and it got roots,I think it took about 6 wks, prbly would be easier with the newer growth in the spring.I remember I also wounded the cutting by scraping the outer layer of wood this I think helped a lot with it...the cutting actually tried to bloom this year but I pulled the buds off..hopefully it will like its new home and get somewhat established before our first frost... |
