does anyone know of a white tropical hibiscus that can grow in the ground in my zone 9a. i am willing to take a risk same as with bouginvilla. ive seen white wings but i dont know if it is a patio plant. im not talking about rose of sharon of which i already have, but the tropical kind. i bought one at target only to realize i will have to take it out of the ground when the weather gets cool. it was one of the trade winds varieties. sure grew fast but i want one i can leave in the ground. i know it is possible and i see them in my neighborhood, just not in white. does anyone know about "white wings"?
