ants in hibiscus--help!

Hello! I have a potted hibiscus that has ants living in the dirt (it is kept outdoors in summer and indoors in winter). Anyone have any ideas how to get rid of the ants--I want them gone so I don't bring them in for the winter too! Thanks!

AMdro works well, some folks use plain old sugar but I can't say it works because I have yet to try it. You might be able to use some of the small bait stations such as combat and just move them for your watering day them put back down on the soil surface.
