Overwintering a hibiscus in Chicago

Hi All-

I rescued a Hibiscus plant from Lowe's and it has started responding nicely. Growing leaves, and putting out blooms. Winter is coming, how should I plant to overwinter it? Thanks for any help.

It is a tropical, right? You can bring them into a sunny window and let them grow...watching out for spider mite. Their demand for water is not as intense. I trim mine back by at least 1/3 and store in my basement..which has a small south window allowing for some natural light. I water spareingly throughout winter to prevent root rot. It doesn't get much over 60 down there, but they manage to stay alive for the next growing season.
