Several hibiscus questions

Hi. I would like to plant several different types of hibiscus in the ground. I have a large area to fill and thought that I would try to grow them during the winter from seeds in my house. Is this a good idea? If so, where do you rec. I buy seeds? Which type of hibiscus will be able to last outside in the ground during the winter and how do I protect them? I am in Louisiana in Zone 8B. Any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated. I would like at least 20 hibiscus. Thanks!

All the hardy hibiscus I've tried start easily from seed.
I've successfully started H. mutabilis, H. coccineus (Texas Star), H. mutabilis (Confederate rose)and H. moscheutos (Dinner plate hibiscus).
I bet, if you searched the trade lists here, you could easily get several types.
I know Park seed sells a couple of varieties.
