Hibiscus seeds

Hi, I am trying to find out how to get seeds from my hardy hibiscus. These are the dinner plate hibiscus and I have several plants. I might get 3 or 4 seed pods a year. I don't know, maybe I'm in the wrong zone, but if someone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have no problems getting seeds from my rose of sharon bushes.
Also, I use to grow tropical hibiscus and never got one seed pod from them.

Err, wouldn't you rather have flowers than pods ?
If you prefer, you can artificially cross-polinate between different varieties and probably get as many pods as you want, though fewer flowers.
