Yellowing Leaves on Rose of Sharon

I planted a Rose of Sharon about three weeks ago and it looked great. About a week later, we had roughly 8 inches of rain in a weekend and now my tree is yellowing. I am guessing this is from overwatering caused by the rain. Is there anything I can do but watch it die?

    If it is in an area that drains well, it should recover. Check the root area and see how wet it still is.
