Brilliant Hibiscus Tree Form indoor?

Cal_00

Hi, a local garden center has these huge Brilliant Hibiscus tree forms in large 10 gallon pots that are 90% off retail. I was about to buy it considering it was a $100+ Tree for $10 but before I bought it I notice the tag said it was a zone 9-11 tree. My question is why would they be selling zone 9-11 trees in a 5B zone? Do people buy these as annuals? Could these be brought indoors for the winter? Or can they be indoors full time in a sunny spot inside my house?

    Cal_00,
1 and 2. These are tropicals and are annuals in areas of freezing temps. I bring in several plants each year due to my investment and hobby.
3 and 4. With proper care, these plants can not only survive, but thrive indoors with the correct care.

If there is a buyer they do not care what zone they are in. Here they try to sell us vegetables during the wrong season. Then when the correct season comes, fall they do not have any to offer.
