Years ago, while I was still working as a Physical Therapist Assist, I had a patient that would enter his hibiscuses into contests. He and his wife would pollinate them and come up with new types. He surprised me once by showing me this really pretty hibiscus, I think it was silver lilac. He had named it Orie and entered it in one of the contests and it won. This was back in Boca Raton, FL. Anyone ever heard of the flower named after me? His name was Howard (either his first or last, can't remember). Thanks-- Orie
