Watering requirements -newly planted in Florida

I just planted a couple of Hibuscus trees (in 3 gallon containers from local nursery) in my yard. I filled the hole with potting type soil.

Should I be giving them a good watering every day for the first few weeks?

I noticed that some of the leaves have been turning a bit yellow, but am not sure if this is because underwatering or overwatering....

Thanks,

Brad

It all depends on how well draining your soil is. Unless the temperatures are up in the 90s, watering every other day is a good idea. I have received contradictory advice in this matter, but I found that watering everyday unless the temperatures are absolutely crazy high, is not a good idea.

    Good luck.

Thanks Amaji! Temps here are still about 90 to 92 each day as a high, and lows of 72-74 typically.
