Texas star looks soooo sad

I bought a texas star at the Farmers Market this summer and have been treating it like the other hibiscus that I own. I was doing fine until recently. I moved to a new house and put in on my back porch. I bloomed one time and then all the leaves fell off except the very bottom ones. Now the top of the plant looks as if it is dying. This morning i moved him inside for fear that it might be gettin to chilly for him outside. Is this normal or whats wrong with him?

Texas stars are hardy where you are. If it were me, I'd plant it in the ground.
It may have just gone thru a bit of shock when it was moved. If you want to keep it in a pot, I'd trim off the dead and move it back into the sunlight.
