We are having a very mild winter so about a month ago I planted nine new Hibiscus in a new planter. THEY are growing and blooming like gangbusters. on the East wall I have 5 Hibiscus I plantedabout six months ago. they were blooming like crazy until our summer heat hit. they stopped blooming when the temp went over 105 degrees. they have come through the summer ok and are growing like crazy again - BUT they do not want to start blooming again. They are very healthy with lots of new growth, just no blooms. Can anyone tell me whats going on. Does it take this long to get over the summer heat shock. thanks

    Splais,
    They grow in stages.
If they are actively growing, they are growing, then will bloom on new growth.
Wait til they slow growth, then they should bloom.
    Are you misting them?
Hibs love humidity, and I think where you live it is quite dry.
Try misting them every day or two to keep them happy.
    GOod Luck,
