I have had a great experience with a potted Hibiscus this year. I would like to confirm that this plant would not be survive an in ground planting in the NY suburban area in which I live. I will be away during the winter months, so I can't leave indoors since watering will not be available.

    Try to find a friend to plant sit if it will not survive your winter months. Yo did not say what variety this hibiscus is so there is not way to help you with that problem.
