Best woody hibiscus for 7b/8a

Hello,

What is the best woody single flowered hibiscus for the border of zone 7/8? I prefer palmate leaves, but would not require that. I bought a Woodlanders paramutabilis x syriacus. Is there a better choice. In general I only like perennials when the plants are super fast growing and ultra tropical looking and there is no alternative.

I've been experimenting with some hybrid crosses between syriacus and moscheutos, and that's proven interesting ,though not much to recommend the results so far, though this year , I've backcrossed one of those hybrids back to a moscheutos , but don't know "yet" if any seed is viable or what the results may yield. I however, haven't heard of the one mentioned, which sounds like a cross, though I did try to find it on the net? Any more info on that one, since I'd be interested in finding a photo or some more information on it?
