Overwintering Hib coccineus Texas star indoors

Hello everyone,

I am in Zone 5 Canada i.e. Montreal. My Texas start hibs did not bloom this year and I wondered if anyone has ever overwintered them indoors in our zone? If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Donna

Hey Donna,I'm not in your zone ,but I have a texas star and I bring it in in the winter just put it somewhere it can get light and don't over water it will probably bloom on the inside if not just put it in full sun next spring and fertilize. when you bring it in the leaves will turn yellow and drop but don't worry it will adapt.
