flower ID?

Not sure how likely it is to get an answer, but I am hoping to get an ID on this plant.

I bought it here in St Pete this spring from a vendor at a Plant sale. Was supposed to be schizopetalus. But as it got older, and then it bud, I realized it was not.

Its a beautiful flower. I sent a pic to the vendor via e-mail saying what happened and asking for a ID. Got a response e-mail which said "sorry for the mix-up" but no offer to ID. A 2nd e-mail has received no response.

So, I am posting this pic here in hopes that someone recognized it.
