Confederate rose?

I just got a confederate rose. It had several bare stems about 7' tall with a bloom on one and buds on the others. Once I got it home, my young dog chewed off the stems. My question is... how much damage did she do?

Does it just keep producing more stems? Do the old stems ever bloom again?

I just hope that she hasn't done irreparable damage. Any advice you can give would be most helpful.

Thanks,

She didn't do irreparable damage to the plant, just the parts she chewed off..;)
The plants are getting ready to go into dormancy anyway and the stems will die. Next year, new stems will come up from the roots. So basically, she helped you out with pruning a bit!
