Need help with ABCs of Hibiscus Seeds

HI, I have a beautiful Rainbow Sherbert hibiscus that recently bloomed for the first time. I read somewhere that after the bloom falls off the seed pod is left over. This one just fell off the main plant and is tuning brown. Are the seeds inside the bigger pod that is left. How and when can I get to them. How do I plant them and is there any preperation (dormancy, etc) that is needed. I would love to be able to grow more of these but I know nothing (obviously) about seeds.

Let me see if I remember how to add a pic

RE: Need help with ABCs of Hibiscus Seeds

Tropical hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) do not self-pollinate, so you'll need two plants to get viable seeds.
Other than that, you are correct as to the location of the seeds.
Here's a link that explains the process quite nicely.
Good luck and welcome to the insanity of growing your own hibiscus!
