| Several years ago I had a red hibiscus that was 12 feet wide and got as tall as the roof on the house. I have bought several since and they were only small bushes. Does someone know of a variety that will get as big as the one I had before. Thanks AJ in West Columbia |

| When you say "red", do you mean the flowers or the leaves? If you mean the leaves, I bet you had red leaf hibiscus, (H. acetosella). Do you want that same kind? I know there are people here with seeds, I will in a few weeks. I know that the confederate rose hibiscus can get that tall and I suppose if it's old enough, perhaps that wide. I don't have a pic of that, but you'll find plenty by Googling. Again, I know there are people here with seeds. Barb |
