Aloha, I'll be pruning my hibiscus "shrub" and would like to keep some of the clippings for transplanting. What would be the best method to do this, and/or, grow new roots?

Aloha

hello Ive rooted many hibiscus by cutting a pencil sized branch with atleast two other branches coming off it,then putting rooting hormone on the bottom cut.. put it in a jar of water with a plastic baggie over the top of jar with a slit in the baggie with the top of the plant protruding out of the slit....thats it....it takes about 3 weeks for you to see the white roots growing out of the bottom... wait another week or two for the roots to be strong and plant...Ive had a lot of success with doing hibiscus like this.......If you have any seeds from your plants I would love to send you a sase for some I have a fireball hibiscus seeds i could trade you for....
