Hibiscus Soil

I just received a Hibiscus rosa-senesis 'Cooperi' in the mail..I'm also expecting a H. kokio.

I've 3 other tropical hibs, so care isn't a problem. The thing is, I mix my own soil. Recently, I purchased a bag of Substrate which is slighly acidic..It was intended for citrus, but I'm wondering if it'd be beneficial for Hibiscus, too. Does anyone know? Thanks, Toni
