Seed pods-- Where are they?

Sorry, but I have read about seed pods on the plant. Where are they and if you want to collect seeds, how do you go about it? Pick the pod and let it dry or just what? Thanks in advance, Bill in South Texas for the winter..

What kind of hibiscus do you have? Many of the perennial hibiscus do self-seed, but the tropical hibiscus (H. rosa-sinensis) does not.
The seed pod will form after the bloom has dropped off. You shouild let the pod dry on the plant. Depending on the type of hibiscus and the time of year, it can take quite a while for the pod to mature.
