Hibiscus seedlings

Does it usually take hardy hibiscus seedlings a year before
they bloom? I planted them last Feb. and had them under
grow lights for 2 mon. then transplanted to a pot and then
later in the fall planted them outside in the flower bed.
Thank you for any advice.

Seedlings typically take one or two years before they flower.
