| Hi all,
I've seen references to peaches and apricots grown in Hawaii, but haven't seen the fruit at farmers markets. Do they produce well here? Any suggestions on varieties? Thanks, Lee |

| Both require cold winters. |

| I've seen both for sale at nurseries in Hilo and Puna, but don't know anyone that has the trees. I think low chill varieties would produce at higher elevations like Volcano or upper Oceanview. |

| This question has been asked in the past on one of the plant forums I have visited. In response, some one posted a link to a blog which described a trek to an orchard on the Big Island, obviously at some elevation, which had apples, peaches, etc. When I have some time I will try to locate the link. |
