Turmeric Olena

I wonder if anyone knows of a local source for turmeric roots. It is known by the Hawaiians as Olena. It is a yellow-orange root of the ginger family. Seems like it is a wonder drug of the plant world, preventing altzheimers, heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and headache.

Buy some at KTA and plant them. They usually have them over by the potatoes. KTA is a Big Island grocery store, though, if you're on a different island, perhaps one of the grocery stores there will have them.
