| I wonder if anyone knows of a local source for turmeric roots. It is known by the Hawaiians as Olena. It is a yellow-orange root of the ginger family. Seems like it is a wonder drug of the plant world, preventing altzheimers, heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and headache. |

| Buy some at KTA and plant them. They usually have them over by the potatoes. KTA is a Big Island grocery store, though, if you're on a different island, perhaps one of the grocery stores there will have them. |
